Ministry Opportunities
Proven (Men's Ministry)
The men’s ministry at Waterville Baptist Church (WBC) is referred to as “Proven”. Our name is taken from Philippians 2:2, “But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served me in the gospel.”
The purpose of Proven is to help men Connect with God and other men, Grow in their relationship with God and other men, and provide opportunities for them to Serve the Lord inside and outside the church. This will be achieved through Bible studies geared toward men, fellowship times to help build relationships, and through ongoing mission trips and ministry opportunities.
Woven (Women's Ministry)
WOVEN is a ministry for women that intends to encourage growth in their relationship with Christ, while also growing in their fellowship with other Christians. The mission is to lead women to accept Christ as their Lord, therefore equipping them to base their entire lives on the word of God, thus enabling them to become women abiding in the vine, bearing fruits for his glory.
…that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ… Col.2:2
Bible Study (Men & Women)
